In 2018 UnFettered Athletics hosted our inaugural season of Boys’ Basketball. After coaching youth basketball in various local leagues since 2012 and three years of running our own flag football league we ventured into new territory. With the support of many families who love our uniqueness and a partnership with Heartland Christian School, we had a fantastic season!

 

Like football, we spent some pre-season practices in November evaluating 78 players in an attempt to divide them into fair and competitive teams. We had 12 teams in 3 age divisions ranging from Kindergarten to 6th grade. We use the sport to develop our values in the youth while teaching and coaching knowledge, skill, and technique of basketball.

 

In 2019 we opened registration through 8th grade. It was a success, and are able to now offer basketball for young men from grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.
 

We owe a huge thanks to everyone who continue to contribute to UnFettered Athletics success: parents and families, officials, coaches, Anytime Tees for uniforms and merchandise, Heartland Christian School, and Crossroads Church for allowing us to make their gym our second home.
